Mindful Movement Classes starting this November

We’d like to extend a warm welcome to Valentina Buscemi, who is joining our Coulsdon team in November. She will be offering Mindful Movement Classes in our Exercise Studio.

Valentina qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2006 and is now a Chartered Physiotherapist according to the Health Care Professions Council in the UK and Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. She completed an MSc in Neurorehabilitation at Brunel University of London in 2013 and earned a Doctorate Degree at Western Sydney University in 2019. In the same year, she qualified as a Meditation and chair Yoga Teacher in Sydney.

Mindful movement classes

Each class includes mindful meditation practice, guided mindful movement and mat Yoga movements, breath awareness work, free flow movement and reflection (voluntary) at the end of the classes depending on time. Valentina offers a block of three classes that cannot be purchased individually, as different mindfulness skills and concepts are taught during each class.

Benefits: mindfulness practices have an ancient tradition with scientifically proven benefits including stress and anxiety reduction, improvement of cognitive functions and general well-being.

Class length: 1 hour

Price: £27 per block (includes 3 classes)

Time and day: Wednesdays 17th Nov – 24th Nov – 1st Dec, 6-7pm
